Cheap and simple for a group looking to go into newcastle Centre

Comfortable, clean and quiet. Not a neighbourhood you'll probably want to spend time in, but extremely convenient indeed for accessing the centre of Newcastle or for getting out to the coast. The kitchen was very well equipped in terms of pans, utensils etc and the space was perfectly OK for 4. The bathroom was fairly small and basic--but perfectly adequate for the job and with a pretty powerful shower. There's a corner shop at the end of the street and an ASDA only 5 minutes or so away, a few hundred metres from the metro station. We're not talking 'boutique accommodation--but you're not paying those kind of prices (and anyway, what would be the point since you'll be asleep most of the time you're there!)

Overall summary: Would consider staying here again the price. As others have said, you get what you pay for. Detailed: Super cheap place with all the necessities (but not the extras). Didn't feel super clean when we arrived, but clean enough. Could have done with detailed instructions regarding the bins, heating/water temp within the house however the host was super quick to respond to queries. Blankets are fine, pillows a bit thin, one of the mattresses wasn't great.

Great location, close to the metro station so easy access to town. Great apartment for the price.
