Α spacious home on the 2nd floor of a beatifull building, tastefully decorated, just a few minutes from the graphic fishing village Marathopoli known for its magnificent beaches & one of the most beautiful areas of Peloponnese. The area is ideal for those who seek relaxation with the view of the Ionian sea and it’s sunsets, or excursions to the beautiful Proti island. The property is situated on a large olive field The whole residence is a stylish building in a wonderful garden with a bbq and a patio among the olive groves, 1.5km from the endless sandy beach and only 4km from the picturesque fishing village of Marathopoli. Around the building there is a colorful garden full of Mediterranean plants and flowers that provide you beautiful smell and a cool breeze gazing the Ionian sunset. The spacious fully equipped apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building and has a big balcony with amazing sea view. The apartment consists of a comfortable living room with a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, a sofa-bed and a large bathroom. A foldable bed can be added uppon request. You may explore the surrounding area, walk on the endless beach, meet the history of the place or just relax in the enchanting garden gazing the Messinian gulf.

Αρχικά μπαίνοντας στο σπίτι αντι να μου εξηγήσει τις βασικές παροχές του σπιτιού και τις λειτουργίες τους άρχισε να δικαιολογειται για τις κακες κριτηκες που του εχουν κανει "αδικα" στο παρελθόν και τα καζανάκια που δεν δούλευαν και την τηλεόραση που ΕΛΕΙΠΕ ενω στις φωτογραφίες υπήρχε! Δεν ειχε ούτε έξτρα χαρτί υγείας ! Μαχαιροπίρουνα κολλάνε μεταξύ τους έπρεπε να τα πλύνω εγώ! Ο ιδιοκτήτης μπήκε στο διαμέρισμα ενώ λείπαμε ΧΩΡΙΣ ειδοποίηση υποθετικά για να "διορθώσει"το air condition που δεν δουλεύει (δεν φτιάχτηκε ποτέ) και άφησε σκόνες μπάζα και σκουπίδια στη βεράντα και μέσα στο σπίτι.! Στην ερώτηση αν μπήκε στο σπίτι ενώ λείπαμε η απάντηση ήταν :Νομιζα θα ερχόσασταν Σκονισμένα φωτιστικά πάνω από τα κεφάλια μας στην κρεβατοκάμαρα καιγενικότερα λεκέδες σε ολο το σπιτι... Κρίμα γιατι το σπιτι και το μερος έχουν τις προδιαγραφές για κατι πολυ πιο όμορφο και φιλόξενο με πολυ μικρές απλές και φθηνές αλλαγές...
Es hätte alles so schön sein können!Das Bett machte keine störenden Geräusche mehr. Es ist aber ziemlich schmal, sodass wir vom Schlafsofa Gebrauch machten,das aber ohne extra Matratze nicht bequem gewesen wäre.Das Gestell der extra Matratze ist alt und macht laute Geräusche.Dass man dort einen schönen Urlaub zu viert verbringen könnte, stelle ich hier mal in Frage.Die Küche ist nur spärlich ausgestattet,keine Schüsseln und auch nur eine winzige Tasse.Das Bad war nicht richtig sauber,die Klobrille defekt und vergilbt.Die Waschmaschine war die ersten Tage defekt, wurde dann aber repariert.Das permanente Bellen des Hundes in der Nacht hat unseren Schlaf gestört und die scheinbar hungrigen Katzen machten es uns unmöglich entspannt auf der Terrasse zu essen. In einer Nacht wurden wir um 6Uhr von starkem Qualm in unseren Zimmern geweckt und blickten in Flammen vor unserem Fenster.Nach dem ersten Schock realisierten wir,dass der Gastgeber etwas verbrannte - das Feuer war etwa 3 Meter hoch…
Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα ήταν αυτή που προσδοκούσαμε. Άνετος χώρος, καθαρός και επιμελημένος, με καταπληκτική θέα από την βεράντα. Ο Γιώργος πρόσχαρος και συνεργάσιμος πάντα.
The apartment has a great view over the olive trees to the see with a wonderful sunset and it is well located for trips to nearby sights, beaches and mountains. We very much enjoyed staying!
Eine wundervolle Unterkunft umgeben von Olivenbäumen. Aus jedem Fenster hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick und ein eingebauten Mückenschutz. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und wohnt nebenan im Haus. Der Parkplatz ist groß und überdacht. Ein magischer Ort, wohin wir gerne wiederkommen.

The residence is among beautiful olive groves, in a big relaxing garden, so it forms its own quite neighborhood.
The nearby beach (only 1.5km away) is a magnificent beach with wonderful clear blue water and white sand which hides inside it beautiful seashells. In the village of Marathopoli, at 4 km from the residence, you may find stores with local products, fresh fish and meat and all you need for your daily shopping. Walk on the coastal sidewalk and feel the real spirit of the place. Have a magnificent meal in one of the traditional fish taverns gazing the sunset. Relax at the beautiful cafes and have unforgettable nights at the bars and clubs of the area. Visit the small port with the smiling fishermen and take the local boat to visit the beautiful Proti island. This small island in the ancient years it is said that it was a common lair for pirates, while at its "grammeno" area you may also see ancient scriptures on the rock.
Going a little further, in an only 6 km distance from the residence, you will find the beautiful city of Gargalianoi, with the big square, the historical church,the lovely coffee shops and the small local businesses for anything further you might need.
If you feel like exploring, the position of the residence is also perfect to discover wonderful places in the surrounding area. Below you will find some of our proposals.
Swimming:
At a short distance from the house, there are many different beaches to cover all tastes. Some of them are Lagouvardos (9km), Romanos beach (10km), Voidokoilia beach (14km), Agios Ioannis, Agia Sotira, the Mati (“eye”), as well as "Proti" island which you may visit by boat. For surf lovers, the area is perfect as lot of nearby beaches provide wonderful choices of wind.
Sights:
Nestor's palace (16km), Ancient messene (62km), Gialova lagoon (Natura 2000 protected area)(16km), Polilimnio lakes and waterfalls (35km), Neda river (53km), Castle of Kiparissia (30km), Castle of picturesque Pylos (24km).
Sports:
In the area you may go (organized or with your group) for plenty of sport activities as biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, snorkeling board surfing, wind surfing and sailing. In Marathopoli there is a diving center that you could contact and in Costa Navarino resort there are two awarded golf courses for the enthusiasts of the sport.
The position of the residence is among beautiful olive groves and it would be significantly easier if the visitors have their own mean of transport. There is space to park in the residence as well as the opportunity for visitors to rent a car from nearby areas and have it delivered.
