Do not stay here if you can afford a hotel and if you intend to book a private room. This is ONLY worth it if you are staying in the multi-bed rooms. I paid as much for a single room with a private bathroom as I paid for a lovely boutique hotel. Also, this hostel takes advantage of young travels by asking them to pay in Euros (everything is priced in Euros and Euros are encouraged) and then not giving you change right away, and then insisting on giving you change in Turkish lira. They give you the going exchange rate, but you (tourist) incur the exchange fees. In addition, they offer a service to the airport that costs 40 Euros. This is 3 times what I paid for a taxi to the airport (I paid 500 Turkish lira). When I asked them about this, they said they know these drivers are safe and you don't have to negotiate the price. They are not doing you a favour, they are simply taking advantage of you. If you want the comfort of your own bathroom, there are better choices at same cost.

Got the single bedroom and had no problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful, let me borrow a charging adapter, and spoke good English. Would hook with them again if I was visited instanbul again.

great hostel: staff was very helpful, the location is really at the heart of everything, and the rooftop area was a great place to hang out and meet people. really recommend it!

Super clean cozy place with nice people working there and of course staying there. The have a nice rooftop Area which is a nice place to work! I can just suggest it.
