I only stayed with Marc very briefly for a work 2 night stop, and he was very accommodating! He had the room ready to go and was flexible with my time, I’d get in around 10 and head out by 7, self admission to the apartment with a key. I stoped in to drop off my gear early the first day and then headed back out: a safe place for your things. Stay was as described, bedroom in his own apartment so it’s shared space for the kitchen and bathroom, and it does not have AC making it a bit hot in the summer. Price is decent and as expected relative to the area, about 25 min drive to Bern. I had a car so being out of the Burgdorf city center wasn’t an issue but you do have a small hike to the train station or anything else. If you just need a speedy and clean space, I recommend Marc’s space!
