This is THE place! I had my wedding here this past weekend. Absolutely amazing. Right by the river. The host and caretaker were very accommodating. If you’re reading this review now… just scroll up and book this amazing finca!

Serene , peaceful, relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. What stood out as well were the innkeepers Julio and Gloria. The most humble , helpful, thoughtful people you would want to meet. Not to mention Gloria's cooking is outstanding. Should not think twice to take advantage of her services for a very reasonable additional fee. Outstanding stay. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay in Salento with our friends- together we were six adults and five small children, and we fit comfortably at the house. We enjoyed the open common areas, both at the house and near the river. Julio stays in a separate area on the same property and was there to help with everything, including lighting a wood stove. The area was excellent for the kids to run around and explore, and it's only a short walk to a small area of cafes and restaurants. Although we didn't get to take advantage of the 45 minute walk to the waterfalls, we did have some very full days in Salento and Valle de Cocora, and the house was a convenient location to all (we did have a rental vehicle). I would recommend Daniel's place and would be happy to visit again!
