Fantastic retreat and the perfect place for some well deserved rest and relaxation. Quiet, peaceful with beautiful gardens and countryside, with only the birds and lambs for company. Perfect little cottage with everything you could possibly need, including a wonderful aga! Gorgeous gardens to explore and two of the absolute nicest hosts ever! Friendly, always available, so kind and thoughtful and full of useful information on the local area. My husband was delighted to meet fellow fishermen and we already cannot wait to be back! Huge credit to you both - a truly wonderful experience xx

A peaceful location, lovely surroundings and a really comfortable cottage, so nice to come back to on a cold March day! Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a meal, we were apprehensive as it was our first time cooking on an Aga but it was very straightforward after Shirley's helpful advice. We knew the area already but there are good shops and restaurants locally as well. The cottage is perfect for a short or longer stay, we were there for 10 days and made ourselves really at home!
