Terrible location and terrible flat. We couldn’t stay did not feel safe and loads of things wrong with the property.

We were staying for 2 nights, we only had hot water on the check in day, we never had a response on how to fix it (or an apology for the inconvenience). Not flexible for an early check in even though we were offered to extend our stay by staying one extra day prior to our check in date. Otherwise flat was ok, it is very spacious, and kitchen and bathroom were clean.

Flat was very large so plenty of room but needs upgrading in many areas, was about to be painted the day we checked out. Beds not comfortable really. Easy check in.

This is the worst Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Only remained as we had plans with family in the area and when we looked on arrival all other alternative options were horrifically expensive. Turns out the property is in “the scheme” in Renfrew. The neighbouring flat with boarded up windows and smashed windows was a scary welcome. The front door to this property has some holes in it as though been hit. The next door up the stairs has broken locks which you cannot lock from the outside when leaving the property. The carpets are grubby and stained, the sofa covers need cleaned. The walls have marks over them. Pillow who run the apartment had the cheek to ask for an extra £50 cleaning fee on top of the £120 they were already charging for our dogs to stay, my dogs bed was much cleaner than this apartments carpet! The washing machine door was missing so that even if you wanted to use it you couldn’t. On leaving I stripped the beds as I always do and found unsurprisingly ripped, old dirty duvets, pillows and stained mattresses. Someone has obviously made an effort to put in a nice bathroom and kitchen but seems like nothing has been done to it since then. Do not stay here.

Cheap but not cheerful! My first bad airbnb experience. Good points: it is large and roomy. Bad points: damp, scuffs and scratches everywhere, dirty and in need of a good deep clean. So many things broken (washing machine has no door, freezer filled with ice, dining table and chairs broken, front door looks like it's been hit and cracked). Curtains missing and filthy vents in bathroom. Bare minimum in kitchen - 4 bowls for 6 of us staying and a random selection of odd plates, glassware and cutlery. We ate out in the end and only slept there for 2 nights. The ad is cleverly photographed. The street has some really bad neighbours, rubbish outside, boarded up windows on properties, police arrived within an hour of us being there to neighbours and the bins to the property were overflowing. It's run through an agency so no direct contact from them just automated messages. Certainly not a home from home.
