I wanted to love this place. The location was amazing- the unit was on the end with perfect access to the ski rack at the bottom of the stairs, the ski in path came down right to it, and the ski out was a very short hike up. It was only two blocks up from the Snowmass Mall and the Sky Cab- steep walk but close. The hot tubs were wonderful and we enjoyed them every evening. The unit itself was fine. Nothing fancy, cramped as expected and the kitchen just had a little bit of a strange assortment of things, but mostly everything we needed. The issue was the couch. We went to pull out the couch for the kids' bed a few hours after we arrived and discovered the whole thing was broken. The middle section of the bed literally had a broken wooden beam with sharp bits poking out, and it wouldn't all lie flat anyway. Unusable as a bed and unsafe. Thankfully the building management had an after hours number so we were able to get an air mattress within a fairly reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately the mattress was almost completely deflated by 2am. We got a new one the next day, and it also had a leak, but slower so it was more like halfway deflated by morning. It didn't feel worth it to keep getting new air mattresses, since we also didn't want to risk getting one that was worse again or waste more of our trip trying to get it figured out, so we just dealt with it. Certainly disappointing and unpleasant, but also not the worst possible issues to deal with in a rental? I contacted Eliza after getting home and she was responsive and gave us a partial refund, which I appreciate. It doesn't take away the disappointment, and I truly don't know what the best course of action would have been. It seems strange that this was overlooked during normal cleaning and maintenance- the couch looked off without being pulled out since the cushions and seating were really sloped forward. Our booking was clearly for 4 people, and in fact, extra bedding for the couch wasn't provided. Assuming this issue is fixed for future guests, it's really a decent place; I just wish we hadn't had to experience poor sleeping arrangements during an otherwise good trip.

horrible experience worst communication ever do not book this place we drove 12 hours to stay at the spot for Christmas for my children got snowed in wasn't able to make it they continued to text my phone saying we hope we have a good time knowing we're not having a good time we had to sleep in our car freezing these people are far from good people

Clean, comfortable, well stocked with kitchen supplies and amenities and super conveniently located. A perfect and peaceful summer stay!
