Maison de Moon The property is a beautiful French Provincial country style home on 13 acres in Clarendon. At the tip of the Fleurieu region, you can visit some of the worlds most prestigious wineries and restaurants on your doorstep. The country home features magnificent large beams and handcrafted ironwork throughout the home, custom forged iron balustrades along the terrace, internal staircase & feature gates. Much of the beautiful antique hardware has been brought over from France and carefully restored. The kitchen is a handcrafted stunning country style kitchen adjoining the dining and family room that looks out to a picturesque Atrium adorned by plants, glory vine, relaxing daybeds and furniture for a sunny retreat. The main home has an authentic French tower that rises from the basement to the first floor where the master ensuite resides overlooking the lake. The home is nestled amongst gorgeous established gardens and has a small lake with turtles, ducks, herons and goldfish. It is surrounded by beautiful established European trees, a large rose garden, a gorgeous wisteria arch walkway, many cottage plants, majestic gums and Australian natives. There is an idyllic little 1860 stone barn which looks over our main lawns and lake which can sleep 2 guests.
