This, Home was simply amazing. Nothing can beat the view off the back porch of Mount Wheeler and Angel fire below. There was ample room for all 12 of us and plenty of bathrooms. The Jacuzzi on the back porch was well used. The only criticism I can offer, and this is being very picky, and also generalized to Angel Fire community itself, is the issue of trash. we did end up leaving five bags of trash at the property. I know that will incur a fine. However, there was no way around it. The last thing that you can deal with logistically, leaving in the predawn hours with a van full of 12 people, packed to the gills with suitcases, is to worry about what to do with five bags of trash that need to be driven down the mountain all the way in the Angel Fire trash collection central station, which is out of our way, and also dealing with snowfall and treacherous roads on top of that, I did not feel like losing an hour available travel time when I was headed south and the trash area is north.

Our family of 12 were right at home! During winter months come totally prepared because you never know when Mother Nature can change your plans! Home is so awesome even when this happens!
