Great stay off the beaten path! Quiet area and a great place to relax - with plenty of room for a large group. Within an hour or so of Mammoth Cave National Park. Responsive and friendly communication with Tony.

*Don’t come here for the lake access!* You will have better water access staying close to a marina as this property does not offer anything unique in the way of water, and certainly no place to put a boat in. Be prepared to search thoroughly for tiny deer ticks, if you do walk to the water (we found 9). The water access is contentious, and the neighbor claimed that this property does not actually have legal water access. Save yourself the trouble—if you want to fish or be on the water—and stay somewhere else. If you simply want a cabin in the woods, away from good cellular coverage and WiFi, that is clean and comfortable, with a balcony to overlook the woods, this is your place! Had we not planned to use the “lake access” so extensively, we would have been quite content.

Lovely little getaway and worked great for our 5 adults, 2 toddlers, and 3 dogs over New Years Eve! Clean and sizable. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies (bring Tupperware/tin foil), plenty of games and movies for rainy days, quiet area. We were not informed that Lake Nolin is drained in the winter, so that was disappointing.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Overall great stay! Nature views from the deck. Short hike to the lake - however the lake was mostly dried up when we were there. The kids still had fun finding neat rocks and sticks. Three full bathrooms - one on each level. Laundry room with soap supplied. It is a rustic cabin and sound travels easily inside. This made putting small children to sleep a bit challenging when others were still awake. I suggest bringing a sound machine to help with that. There is an older highchair and a strapless booster, lots of games and books and a small variety of dvds. There are signs on the toilet that read “please do not flush any paper products down the toilet”. No Internet, but we did have cell reception. Host was very responsive and place was clean.
