We loved our stay at Villa Valentina. We were a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. Cant fault it really, great check in experience, easy to find, good communication from Astrid. Clean, spacious, well-equipped villa, inside and out. Playroom was a huge hit. Pool was a bit cold in March but we knew this ahead of time and once you got in you soon got used to it. I’d say location is great but I think you could benefit from a car, you can walk into town but with a toddler it wasn’t ideal. We had some wonderful days out at the beach, costa teguise market, rancho Texas park and ventured into puerto del Carmen. We did have a bit of trouble with leaky showers and making sure we avoided showering at same time to get decent water pressure but that was easy to manage. Astrid was a great host, quick to respond and even got some gas delivered during our stay so we could make use of the bbq!

Travel cots were requested prior to travel and reminded on day of arrival, but were not present, meaning our toddlers had very unsafe sleeping environment for the first night. The host was not particularly communicative in informing us when the cots would arrive, leaving us to stress the following day as to whether we would get any. They did at least arrive in the end. Some basic amenities like cooking oil, hand soap etc were not there. Other than that, the place was very comfortable, lovely location, pool and hot tub were fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay for 6 nights with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The villa is a 15 min from the airport and we were able to park outside all week. The roads in the complex are quite narrow and parking can be tight! The location is good if you have a car. The place was as described and Astrid was great a communicating before, and left blankets and a bed guard as requested. It was a great stay for kids as there is a small play park a couple of blocks away, as well as the well stocked play room in the basement. The only reason we are not giving it 5 stars is because a few things needed fixing (maybe because we were the first of the season). The boiler broke halfway through the week, but was replaced within 24hrs, and the hot tub also needed an engineer to come out and fix it. We did note that the kitchen could be better equipped with some basics like spatulas, oil, salt and pepper etc. Overall, we had a great stay at Astrid's place and would definitely recommend / come back!
