We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day stay at the enchanted nook cabin. It was a great place to unplug and unwind. Suzy is the perfect host. She really does supply everything but your clothes and food. Our 2 fur babies accompanied us and they had a great time too. We really liked how the front porch with side yard and back patio were fenced and secure so they could roam around on their own. Lots of local wildlife including deer and elk that visit the property. Alto lake was a great place to hike the trails and we got to see the local wild horse herd get a drink and take a bath in the lake while we were there. We would definitely book another week at the cabin and will recommend to our friends and family.

Enchanted Nook is a peaceful sanctuary...so much so that on our first day, 3/29/2024, we didn't leave for the entire day...just relaxed in this soothing and comforting environment. Suzy's numerous, thoughtful touches were proof that she wanted us here and wanted us to feel welcomed. We did! Fresh flowers, Breast Cancer Robe, the best chocolate chip cookies we've ever had, (Can I have your recipe?), screaming-fast internet and plenty of tasteful signs with directions so everything was so easy, all made our stay very memorable. Suzy thought of everything, even supplying carrots for the numerous deer and nuts for the birds...so happy that we fed these wonderful creatures. Thank you Suzy for being so good at what you do. Thank you for Enchanted Nook. We'll be back.

If I could give 1,000 stars as a rating, I would. We had a wonderful stay at the Enchanted Nook and it was everything we assumed it would be and more! Cabin is so charming and clean and everything you could possibly need is available. We brought a lot of our own things based on other Airbnb stays, however, we didn't need to bring anything! The host, Suzy, was very responsive to any questions we had and was very informative on places to go/what to see/where to eat, etc. It was also dog-friendly, which we appreciated tremendously! This has to be our best Airbnb stay ever! Hopefully we will be able to visit again! Thank you to Suzy and Frank for everything!!!

This was our 3rd year here staying for one week in March. We come here to unwind and get away from it all. The Mountain views are breathtaking. When we want to venture out, the cute town of Ruidoso has lots to do, and we enjoyed hiking trails and ski Apache. Our host Suzy continues to be such a generous and thoughtful host. Since we were celebrating my 50th bday, Suzy left a birthday card, some treats for wildlife, and even some dog treats for our fur kids. The wild horses came to visit on our last day, and we felt grateful. Will be back in 2025!

It is such a perfect place for a getaway. Super peaceful and relaxing! My wife and I absolutely loved it!
