Great place to stay as a base to explore the Val-des-Bois area. The cottage is very well outfitted and Catherine and John are attentive hosts, so we see why so many guests return every year!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Catherine’s place and we loved it just as much as our first visit. The cottage is super well stocked, especially with kitchenware which is great because we love to cook while we’re on vacation. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub is a delight, and the location is peaceful and serene.

We spent a weekend away at Catherine and John’s cottage. They were great hosts very responsive and friendly. The location is excellent with beautiful views across the lake. It’s a short walk to the village where there is a nice bakery and some other shops. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere close to Ottawa.

Beautiful cottage, needed a restful vacation with my daughter and this was perfection.
