Brown’s Lodge consist of the entire second floor which has it’s own private entrance, kitchen, balcony, living/dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms. You can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the island life and watch the most breathtaking sunsets from the privacy of the own balcony. This newly constructed three bedroom and two bedrooms home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and has all the comfort and amenities you need like a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, warm water, etc. Portland is by far a great destination to experience true Jamaican culture and immerse yourself in the experience of a island life and fun fact it’s the birthplace of tourism in Jamaica.Not into Large resorts and scheduled activities?You can vacation on your own time in port Antonio. Here are a few things we want you to know when visiting Portland: Distance from the major Airport: From songster Intl Airport (Montego Bay )to port Antonio is 3hrs 26mins via A1 From Norman Manley Intl Airport to Port Antonio is 2hrs 26mins via A4 You can rent a car from any of these Airports: Things to do within proximity of our property: -Frenchman’s Cove beach *20 mins* -Blue Lagoon *21 mins* -Reach Falls *33 mins* -Somerset Falls *55 mins* -Rio Grande Rafting *44min* -Craft Market *20mins* -Port Antonio Town Center and Errol Flynn Marina *25 mins* -Boston Beach *15 mins* -Winnifred Beach *21mins* *Estimated Cost For Tours And Excursions* -Frenchman cove beach is 10 usd per person. No outside food is allowed on the beach but it has a really good restaurant with, good food and drinks. -Blue Lagoon is an absolute must see and has no entrance fee. You can swim and enjoy the Lagoon for free. There are costs associated with renting kayaks and gear and also doing the Blue Lagoon Tour ($10-20 usd per person). -Winifred Beach is a beautiful and free community beach, there aren’t any entrance fee but a donation is asked for to maintain the beach. -Boston Beach Is $2 usd per adult while children pay $1 usd. The beach has changing facilities, a restaurant and also a surfing activities and surfboard rentals. -Reach Fall open Wednesday to Sunday. Cost is about $4 - 6 usd per adult, kids $1-2 usd . -Somerset Falls - open daily 9 - 5 pm. Est Cost $20 usd per adult Unspoiled falls experience, location has a restaurant.

This would’ve been a great experience if the host’s brother wasn’t constantly showing up at the property and causing major disturbances. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, and the space was great. But as I’ve mentioned, the host’s brother showed up twice while my family was inside and cause major disturbances. He damaged the door requiring the locks to be changed twice, and was outside swearing, cursing, and threatening violence. It was a very bad experience and for this reason I would not recommend this place to my friends and family, because I would be fearful for their safety. This is very disappointing because I honestly think the host is great, but due to family issues with the ownership of the property, the safety of guests are too unpredictable.
Another great stay! Inviting, modern, comfortable and spectacular views! The neighborhood was lively this weekend, and it made for an even better stay as we didn't need to venture but a few yards away for food, drinks and dominoes. Music filled the air as it has in last stays! Love it here!
Beautiful home and ocean view.
Claude’s place was perfect for what my group was looking for. Beautiful place that was clean and well kept. Bedrooms were all spacious especially the master bedroom. Master bedroom is the only room that has own personal AC however one bedroom is adjacent to the living room that has a massive AC that cooled down the entire air bnb and the third bedroom also has large fans. Both bathrooms had showers and running hot water which was fabulous! Air bnb was located on second level attached with a large veranda that looks out to the sky line! Communication was quick and efficient. Would stay again!

Brown’s Lodge is very welcoming and safe community ,the neighbors friendly. The community is surrounded by the ocean that is fill with glistening beaches.
Public transportation is always available, plus you could request a charter from the owner to be taken around for an additional cost.
