We came up for the recent eclipse, what a great to find such a nice place that allows dogs. The area is very quiet and secluded, neighbors are seasonal. The hot tub was a treat, especially since I threw my back out leaned back during the eclipse. Be sure to say hello to Mary Jane, the 90 year old “Mayor of Pine Cone Lane”, she is a gem. Location is about a 17 minute drive to the local town which among many quaint small town joints also has a Walmart Supercenter in case you need something more specific or forgot something. I’d suggest stopping at the Tops Supermarket in Boonville though on your way up for your more bespoke grocery needs (their cucumber lemonade goes great with tequila). The guest book was filled with local suggestions, they won’t steer you wrong, Millers meat market and Jeb’s Restaurant. I recommend the chicken enchiladas at Jeb’s. Highly recommend.

Pinecone Paradise was a lovely retreat for our family. The house is exactly as pictured and described with great local recommendations to explore. The serene set-up of outdoor places to enjoy will not disappoint; from the burbling creek, the glow of evening lights, the warm hot tub, the ability to safely have your dog outside with you, all of it is lovely. The beds were comfy, the stove kept the house toasty warm, and we enjoyed the games and puzzles and time together. All the extra dog amenities were so generous, and lovely to have towels specifically for a pet, separate from regular linens. We would love to go back another time to see a different season in the area.

The stay at the Cabin was amazing! The puppy accomidations were adorable and sweet. We utilized the hot tub multiple times a day. There are plenty of beautiful hikes nearby, but staying in is just as fun with all the games and puzzles Julia had. Overall a great way to spend a birthday!! The road in gets pretty muddy after the rain, we nearly got stuck on the way out. Also id look up directions to places nearby inside the cabin before leaving, since we couldnt get reception outside. But those two things were easy to manage and out of the hosts control so overall it was an amazing weekend. Thank you so much!

This was my first time using Air BnB and Julia made the whole process easy and worry free! The place was perfect for a romantic getaway. The hot tub was amazing. The house was beautiful inside and out!
