We loved staying at Gail's place for the start of our vacation! It was perfect! We wanted a place on a lake with the options of boating and this delivered! She had a row boat and 2 kayaks for our use that came with the stay! Lake Roland was a beautiful landscape! We even saw two eagles while out on the water! The house had everything we needed for our family of 5, and was super clean! The mudroom was the perfect place to store our extra gear! We only stayed three nights because we went on our way east to Mackinac Island the rest of our week--but while we were there, we loved every minute. Sunrise and sunset were amazing- The location was perfect for us and we would easily go back another time! Thank you for all your help and extra information too when I had questions!!

Along with my husband, John, my son, Cody, and my grandson, Matthew, we own and operate Houghton Rental Housing out of Houghton, MI. We made the move to Michigan's Upper Peninsula from Illinois in 1998 after our love for nature drew us to the U.P. for many memorable vacations in the area. We have a special love for the Twin Lakes area and all it has to offer and look forward to hosting you at the Lake Front Lodge so you too can find out for yourself how special it really is!
