Very nice large flat with large kitchen and two large bathrooms. The host was great and really helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We waren gestrand in het dorp door autopech. Gelukkig vonden we Manuel zijn appartement en konden we een nachtje goed slapen. Het bubbelbad was heerlijk!

We arrived into Villa Formosa very late at night, and Manuel was still very kind and accommodating when he took us in and showed us how all the amenities worked. It was a larger and more spacious place than anticipated. The shower and tub have jets! (SHOWER FYI: The top knob chooses where you want the water to come out of, the middle knob controles water pressure and bottom knob has to be at a certain angle to turn the water on/temp control). Also we were able to do laundry (with soap that was provided) and it dried overnight because we could hang them on the heated towel racks and in front of the radiator heaters. Overall we felt so comfortable and welcome at Manuel’s place.

We have just returned from 6 days at Manuel's lovely apartment. We were taking part in a large orienteering event nearby for the week. We drove over from Madrid, arrived a little later than expected but Manuel was waiting for us outside the apartment. We arrived in horrible wet and windy weather but the apartment was lovely, warm and cosy. Everything was lovely and clean, exactly as pictured. The ensuite shower was our only minor issue but that was more because neither of us knew how to turn it on (3 knobs, lower one needs to be out at a funny angle, middle knob turns the water on, top knob is for what the water comes out of) our fault not Manuel's. The supermarket was minutes away and we had dinner in the little restaurant near the supermarket the first night. Vilar Formosa was an interesting town as was Almeida. We had a brilliant time, the apartment was fantastic and in the summer it would be even better with the pool and garden.
