Great place, had lots of fun playing volleyball and enjoyed the trails. Great place for some peace and quiet and lots of fun for kids. It was really great.

We did not meet the hosts, but a friendly young lady checked us in. The property is located in beautiful surrounds, a gorgeous garden, trees and well-manicured lawn for our doxie. The old cottage is rustic, full of character and family history. We enjoyed our overnight stopover and slept incredibly well. Would have loved a fan in the room and some coffee in the morning before traveling.

Firstly I will state i will certainly return again. Staff super friendly, the Horse riding staff Dan and Gagi where first class and made my daughters day everyday. Great setting Loverly trees and mantained lawns. Nice clean large pool. Loads of activities as option.

Lovely stay in ‘old-fashioned’ farm stay, great garden, great heated pool. Rustic charm with some modern extras such as being off grid ( solar + gas oven; so always possible to cook and have a warm shower). Lovely, sweet owners. Not all advertised activities are up to standard/ run professionally and a bit expensive. People who love (shorter) hikes, horseriding and are doglovers will have a great time.

We enjoyed our stay at Windsong Cottage. We brought along our dogs, our three children and four of their friends. This farmhouse had more than enough space for everyone. I easily feel unsafe on farms in SA, but here I slept like a baby. Our hosts, Philip and Juliet, was friendly and helpful. Rebecca deserves a special mention, she received us with a wide smile and checked in regularly. We're glad our children brought friends along as they could keep each other busy swimming etc. Our dogs enjoyed roaming the property and mingling with other furry friends. Note that the property is enclosed but Windsong itself doesn't have a private enclosure for pets. The stargazing experience with Philip was the highlight of our stay. He's able to explain the night sky in such a way that it keeps adults and kids interested and amazed throughout. The old farmhouse is rustic but neat and clean. The tennis court is in need of some TLC but the children were able to play. Thanks for a great stay!
