The Mountain Song Cabin was a Mountain Treasure. Rebecca was so wonderful to work with; you could feel she is invested in you & the visit & the property. We had a beautiful time enjoying a fire near the clear trout stream; with full moon evenings. Everything one needs to enjoy an outdoor getaway was present. I definitely see us visiting again soon. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb house, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a sense of warmth and cleanliness that immediately put me at ease. The house itself was beautifully decorated, with a cozy ambiance that made it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the soft and fluffy towels to the tastefully arranged furniture. Every corner of the house was spotlessly clean, a testament to the host's dedication to providing a top-notch experience.

The property borders Little Reed Island Creek. Guests often swim and fish in the creek. There is a stone BBQ pit down by the creek and a swing set. There are also chairs down by the creek so you can relax to the sounds of the cascading Cherokee Maiden Falls. There are also picnic tables for your convenience around the property.

While the property is considered secluded, it is only 1.5 miles from I-77 in Virginia only 8 miles from North Carolina. Best of all, our resort is only 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Cabin is only 1/2 hour from one of our nation's most famous small towns, Andy Griffith Mayberry, Mt Airy North Carolina to the south, or go west 1/2 hour to the Capital of the Ole Time Mountain Music, Galax, Virginia.
Located farther west is White Top Mountain, the highest point in Virginia, and Stone Mountain State Park. To the north you can visit the historic town of Hillsville, and Foster falls State Park. A little farther north the kids will definitely enjoy the Fort Chiswell Animal Park.
Numerous festivals are held nearby including Labor Day Gun Show & Flea Market, BBQ Festival, Galax Fiddlers Convention, and Mayberry Days.
