Veronique is a wonderful host, and her residence is quite unique. Not only will you encounter peacocks in the courtyard, but the stunning view of Chateau Gaillard atop the hill is truly jaw-dropping. Despite being just an hour away from the center of Paris, the ambiance is remarkably bucolic. Veronique was very helpful and friendly, and even provided us with bicycles, enabling us to leisurely explore the Seine riverbanks, adorned with typical Normand timbered houses and white rock cliffs. We were also able to bike with ease to the nearby village of Les Andelys for groceries. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to doing it again.
