The apartment is in a quiet location on the edge of Mijas Pueblo, with amazing views down the mountain to the coast, yet just a few minutes’ walk into the village, with all of its amenities. The apartment is beautifully furnished in a stylish, contemporary and individual manner that provides a really luxurious feel, it is clear that attention has been paid to every detail so as to provide guests with everything needed to just wind back & relax, whether inside the gorgeous lounge or on the private terrace, which we found to be particularly magical in the evening with those views down to the coast. The roof top pool and sun deck area are also beautifully maintained and the off-road car parking gave us a further sense of security. We will definitely be back, Mijas is always such a delight to visit and this apartment is a truly wonderful base from which to enjoy it !

This is our second visit to Mijas and Ian’s wonderful apartment. The apartment was presented beautifully and the bathrooms had been updated since our last visit to a very high standard. We had a very warm welcome from Maite who was eager to help with advice if it was needed. The view from the balcony is wonderful and perfect for a long lazy breakfast or to sit and reflect on the day. We love the quiet and private location but only 5 minutes stroll up to the town and a selection of restaurants and shops. We will be back soon.

The apartment is very nice - the view is spectacular. Maite, the housekeeper, was as helpful as she could be. But there were plumbing problems. First a toilet wouldn't flush. After that was fixed, the bathroom filled with sewerage stink. Maite and partner fixed that the next day. I sleep on my side and, not being used to spring mattresses, felt the springs poking my ribs. Flipping the mattress didn't help. I suggested a foam top-mattress (cheap at IKEA), but to no avail. (I slept on a 75 x 160 cm cushion from the balcony bench.) The village, and the hiking trails above, are wonderful, and very well kept. But we were unlucky there, too. If you think you've been shat on by a bird, and a "local" is immediately there to "help", Beware! He's trying to pick your pockets. (I'd read about this, so he didn't succeed.) We also had an 8 hour power outage. Most complaints here are beyond the owners control. Still, a total impression of our stay: 4-stars. Better beds would make the apt. great.

this place is amazing. the views were lovely. very peaceful and easy to walk into town in less than 5 mins. everything was exactly as shown and every step from booking to checking in was , very quick. the only thing I would say is the photo of the pool area doesn't do it justice, it's gorgeous. lots of space and loungers, and the view is even better. thanks for a fab say we loved it all.

We were delighted to make a return visit to Ian's apartment after a lovely holiday there in 2019 and once again were not disappointed. The apartment is exactly as described, well appointed, tastefully furnished and the additions of electric shutters and refurbished second bathroom are wonderful. The spacious well furnished balcony provides fantastic views down to the coast - a perfect setting for breakfast and for sundowners in the evening. Once again we found the beautiful swimming pool and its surroundings perfectly maintained, with ample sunbeds and shades. Mijas Pueblo is a beautiful little town and Ian's apartment is only a 5 minute walk up into its centre. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and local shops throughout the characterful cobbled streets, all creating a lovely atmosphere, especially in the evenings. We also used the very accessible local bus services to visit nearby places and the coast. Thanks once again to Maite for looking after us so well during our stay.
