Beautiful place to stay! I had a lovely escape to the mountains with my dog. Lake Gregory is beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay, though would shop around next time due to fees. The neighborhood is quiet, the house was clean and in good functional condition, kitchen worked well, bathroom and shower were good. The view is nice, bed on the firm side and comfortable. Footsteps can be heard from the upstairs occupant, but were not bothersome. We followed checkout checklist to a "T" and loaded dishes in the dishwasher, 3/4 full, before leaving. The host levied a fee for "excess dishes," and it took 3 messages with multiple people, and the threat of involving AirBnB with a rating hit, before the fee was cancelled. To host's credit this was resolved within 24 hours. This and a $175 cleaning fee did not feel good. Accessibility: The walk is steep and has pine needles, front door opens only part way (blocked by kitchen counter & trash can), and sliding door was difficult to open and close. None of this affected our weekend stay, but may be a consideration for some

Pros: Beautiful view of the lake, nice small patio to sit and look at the view. Quaint place. Cons: There is another unit above this unit, it is not sound proof as expressed later in the "welcoming" letter. Parking is limited, there are only two tight spots closer to the house and one down below on the street. The other unit took two parking spots and it was very difficult with a truck to get down the driveway, as it is narrow. Mirror in bathroom was broken, broken glass under the sink, many pills loose under the couch, bathroom sink was not draining at all. We were asked to check in an hour later than the check-in time, we arrived and the cleaners were still there. Mattress not very comfortable.
