I am born and raised in Charleston, SC. This city is where my heart is. As Charleston continues to grow and change, it just gets more vibrant in my opinion. That's why my husband and I have moved back from the West Coast to live in this beautiful city and on beautiful Folly Beach. We have poured our hearts into making our properties a comfortable, clean, and welcoming space stocked with every detail you might need in a home away from home while you are visiting our home. We enjoy traveling like a local when we travel. I would love to be able to share recommendations to help you have the same travel experience here. Please message me with questions or see the guest guide book where I have listed some of my favorite local spots. The downtown cottages are located in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood. I may be biased, but this neighborhood is arguably the most vibrant in Charleston - quiet, tree lined streets, around the corner from amazing local restaurants and shops, and a great home base for guests to get a real taste for living like a Charlestonian. Walk to dinner, shops, or a baseball game. You have quick access to the entire peninsula with its history, nightlife, and amazing food. Our beach duplex is perfect for extended families with two kitchens, 5 bedrooms, and 5 full bathrooms. There is a pool and a multiple outdoor entertainment areas including 5 porches, 4 of which have views of the ocean, a 10 person outdoor dining space, and lounge areas. If you are renting only one side, you may share the pool area with us or other guests depending on who is around. All guests are asked to be courteous of each other in regards to noise. The house itself is on a lively corner of Folly Beach, one block from Center Street you are walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and a locally famous corner market, Bert's. This close proximity comes in very helpful as this area is nearly impossible to find parking, even with a golf cart. From the door to the sand is less than 300 feet approximately. The pier is just one beach entry down and makes for beautiful walks and pictures. There is a local surf spot just out from our beach entry- foam and SUP boards provided! Along with bikes to cruise the beach! Our newest beach house, on Red Sunset is a more serene space with beautiful views, breezes, and relaxation. It is located on the west end of Folly Island where the beach and the marina are one block walking distance away. The beach on this end of the island is more peaceful than the bustling east end that our duplex is located on. Relax with a book in one hand and a drink in the other! Pool to come for this property by the end of the year if not sooner. Pool will be heated for those cool winter days.
