Ammasari on the Rispana was paradise! The detailed information provided meant we knew we were going to be in a secluded area away from amenities...so a taxi was arranged by Samira from the railway station, stopping to pick up food supplies on the way, so no trouble finding the place. The tranquillity of the location meant we spent the most relaxing and restful week, surrounded by amazing birdlife and spectacular greenery. The cottage was beautifully appointed, spacious and clean. Samira was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble, all in all, we cannot wait to return!

Had a great stay at Samira and Yannick's cottage.The place is tucked away in quiet nature but it is only a short distance to the town. You do need a some form of transport to explore the surrounding area or visit the shops but if you don't have your own transport there are some scooty or bike hire places in the town. The cottage is simple yet covers all the necesities. It is just as described. Wifi and mobile connectivity is very good. I enjoyed meeting Samira and Yannick, they are really wonderful hosts.

It was our first time in India and we spent the first 10 days in Delhi, Haridwar and Rishikesh before coming here—this spot was our favorite part of the journey! Peaceful and beautiful and we felt very welcomed, safe, loved even. Had a great experience all the way around and this was exactly what we had hoped for

Ammasari is a place out of the dreams. Samira and Yannick are ever present for any and all support making them one of the best hosts that is out there. The quaint and peaceful place cradling a cute little cottage is in itself meditatively refreshing. The kitchenette and the bathroom is well equipped and stocked for everyday use. The sit out welcomes one into the laps of nature to read or work or simply to soak in the surroundings. Rispana river at the bottom of the hill is easy to reach and it greets one with all the characters grandiose of a hill stream with pebbles in the bottom and the constant sound of the flowing water. Tara Ji's food is exceptionally good and yet very homely. It's quite easy to reach Ammasari from the city airport or train station. Mobile and internet connectivity is excellent too. It is very safe for women travelling solo such as myself. In conclusion it's only left to say that I'm sorry that my trip is over and I hope, most dearly, to be back soon.
