Cute little getaway in the Virginia mountains. Everything was as described and owners responded quick to questions. Would recommend maybe spraying for insects and didn’t realize it was only one window a/c unit for the house.

The cabin was beautiful and so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. The furniture and decor were very nice and comforting. The hosts left us a cute snack basket and coffee which was so sweet. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean. The only thing was there were a lot of beetles and spiders, we found some spiders on our bed the first night which was not ideal but it is in the mountains so we realize there’s not much that can be done to prevent that. Overall we loved our stay and would come back again!

We loved our stay at Bayse Blue, the place is just beautiful, quiet and very peaceful. The house is very cozy and comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, and clean. There’s board games, and some books in case you want to have fun or just chill and read. The rooms are beautiful, comfy beads, clean and they provide more than enough towels. Rebecca and Philip’s recommendations were amazing, and they are great hosts, very attentive, friendly and responsive! Very recommended place to stay.

The location & scenery were great, the beds were comfortable, & the kitchen was cute, but overall the house could benefit from attention and care. The back sliding door stuck a lot, the screen door wouldn’t fully shut, there were dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling, the couch sagged a lot, most of the living room furniture has stains, and there are various scuffs & marks throughout the house. There were questionable cleanliness standards such as hair left on some towels, smudgy glasses, & greasy cooking sheets. There is no central cooling, but rather one window unit in the living room (not pictured in the listing) so we relied on extra fans we found in a closet to cool the bedrooms. We had beautiful weather all weekend and got to enjoy a lot of our time on the back deck enjoying the sunshine & listening to the birds.
