Location: Edificio Essence, Quito, Ecuador We only stayed here for one night but would like to help others based on our experience. Before booking if the pool is important to you, it's closed on Mondays due to maintenance. Also, you must "reserve" the pool 24 hours before using it. From our experience, this seems to be a common practice in Quito and does not reflect the Host. Before booking, if the gym is important to you, call first to be sure it is open. Due to maintenance, it was closed and the guard could not tell me when it would be open again. Much construction work is happening during this review, and you can hear the noise during the day. I have no idea when it will end. This also is no reflection of the Host and is completely out of her control. The Host was very communicative and nice to work with. She gives clear instructions and responds quickly.

We loved our stay at Katy's place. We felt very pampered and special being there. We loved getting to go to the pool every night and enjoyed getting to know the security guards. We also loved being near to the park and all the restaurants close by were fabulous. We would go back there in a heartbeat!
