We had a great time at Kodie’s place. House is very well set-up and clean, river flowing at the front and had all necessary facilities inside the house. Perfect getaway for a weekend, close to nature. There are walking tracks within the property and the river made the whole trip to next level. Kodie is very easy to deal with, prompt responses and gave necessary instructions prior to our stay including lack of phone reception. We will be visiting this place again for sure.

This place is probably the best I’ve been to. The river is very calming and makes a nice swimming spot. There was plenty of space for 8 people, and all ammenities were as listed. A very nice place to take a break in!

A truly secluded and amazing property, great for a weekend away to wind down from the hustle and bustle. Sat underneath the stars with the fire pit going, or having a fresh coffee next to the river

We loved our stay at River Cottage. It was exactly what we needed, Kodie was very helpful with all aspects of the stay. The house is as described and was like walking into a peaceful paradise. We travel with a child with limited mobility, so accessibility is always a consideration for us. The house has no stairs but there is a small step into the bedrooms, backyard and also over the threshold of the front deck (which is an absolutely amazing place to sit and enjoy the view and sounds of the river). Full time wheelchair users would need small ramps and assistance. We look forward to returning in the cooler months to use the fireplace and watch the wombats.
