We had a great stay at Beach Villa 3. It is an easy walk (10-15 mins) to the restaurants and cafes in the Main Street. It was ideal having a pool to refresh in after long days of sight seeing. The team at LJ Hooker were always responsive and very helpful.

The house was nice, though sheets were a bit stained on the couches, and the pool was dirty. We appreciated LJ Hooker's responsiveness on weekends, however we wish they would have warned us about road closures in advance of our arrival (had implications for our scuba diving to take the mountain road). The unit is very spacious, and has a great location by 4 mile beach, and we did appreciate the owner's flexibility in letting us alter the length of our stay due to the cyclone.

Let me start by saying I don’t leave bad reviews…ever. I really feel like I have to for this property b/c it was so dirty and the host ghosted us, even though I sent pictures of everything. All couches were covered in brown stains top to bottom. We had to ask for bedsheets to cover the couches in order to sit down. Countertops were covered in crumbs, stove top and dishwasher had gooey substance all over it (Vegemite?), toilets had pee stains under the lid, shade in lower bedroom couldn’t be lowered all the way b/c it was falling off the roll, pool chair in the back was broken, everything was covered in months of dust, hairballs in the corners and the pool water was really cloudy and covered in leaves and a film, we couldn’t use it, which was a big selling point of this place. We told the host about this the minute we arrived and they said they’d have the pool company come out. That never happened. When I followed up 2 more times, I never received a response. Be better.

A beautiful beach house in a great location just a 10-15 walk from the centre of Port Douglas. Well appointed, homely, quiet with an awesome pool. Great host, helpful, proactive and great communication. Highly recommend and will be back for sure ! Thankyou for an amazing stay !!
