we enjoyed our time here. Big Pine has alot to offer for fishing/snorkeling & pretty scenery! The house was good for our family. The Canal has easy access to offshore boating & bridge fishing. Neighbor even took us to catch Tuna in his big boat lol. The only negative thing I would have to say is the stove top needs replaced(only cooks on high and turns on at the slightest touch of knob... Thanks Laz!

Overall the house was generally clean and plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen could have used more supplies, a cutting board and potholders. There was no detergent for the dishwasher. We used the last garbage bag available. Also, the ice maker in the freezer did not work. A couple of umbrellas would be nice for the occasional, random downpour. And a cooler for the beach. A list of available supplies would be helpful. We did not try to contact the host during our stay. It is convenient to the Winn Dixie. A great location close to Bahia Honda and not far from great restaurants on Cudjoe and the lower Keys. Currently there is construction next door and across the canal, but otherwise a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Nice place my only issue was the canal behind the house was full of seaweed and smelly at the time. Could have just been the weather. Bring your own wash rags there were none to be found. Besides that we had a good time.

Lazy was very easy to contact with any issues that we had. We had a wonderful time while we there. The rental was clean. The only thing was dishwasher wasn't working BUT, while we were there a new one was delivered so the next group will have one! Good job Laz! Oh yeah, one other thing I would suggest. Put chairs on the deck. Older folks like myself don't like going up and down the stairs, and the view is so much better from up there. We did bring the chairs up from downstairs though.
