I can’t say enough great things about James and Amy. They were wonderful to me and went above and beyond in so many ways. Their home is an absolute picturesque small farm, walkable hills, the smell of the pines, the pleasant sounds of their chickens cooing and clucking as they pick around the farmyard. If you are a stargazer, you will enjoy stepping out and viewing the night sky in the country darkness. I stayed in their master bedroom suite. It was a bedroom, bathroom, and a smaller attached room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’m not much of a bath person so I didn’t try it…but if you are, the tub looks absolutely decadent. All of the rooms are quite spacious, together they are easily larger than an average hotel floor plan. The home seems quite accessible for most individuals including a ramp along the stairs to the front doors, grab bars, and a home lay out that has master suite, kitchen, and laundry all on a single level of the house.

I have had such a great time on the farm. The tub is amazing. James and Amy are very accommodating and really helped me explore the area with their recommendations! Plus there are cows, chickens, goats, a goose, and the sweetest dogs!

Great little get away. The animals on the farm are very friendly and you can feed them if you ask the host! Very nice house with a very nice kitchen and mega bath tub. 10/10 recommend for couples.

This spot fit my needs. A quiet, rural area, privacy all around, an easy commute to work and while I was at "home" I could forget the rat race existed. James and his family were happy and hospitable hosts, who would share socks, shoes, coats and umbrellas if I needed it. While I was there, I felt like I was a part of the family, just dropping in. I got to put my food in the fridge, and use the EPIC gas range stove. I am sorry I did not get to use the giant tub that fills entirely to the top but I will not hesitate to return and try it out. If you are a weary traveler, you will feel restored with love from the family pups or seeing happy and healthy farm animals as you come and go. James and his family are well connected in the community so if you have questions about where to find hobbies and interests (if it's not already on the farm) they will be glad to direct you to where you want to go. I had a very nice, private, and friendly visit and look forward to my return! Thank you again y'all. See you in the future! Margaret Leonard
