"Blue River Lodge" location is very private and borders the Gila National Forest on three sides. A rare gem. Beautiful hiking trails, horseback riding or bring the ATVs for trail riding. Be mindful of hunters and (no riding on the property). Go bird watching or fly fishing on the Blue River and visit the swim holes and beautiful waterfalls at the Blue Range Primitive Area 15 miles South of the lodge. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to fish, kayak or swim on your very own private trout lake with crystal clear spring fed water? The Dry Blue River Creek feeds this 2 acre lake and then runs beyond the lake through the rest of the 24.4 acres of gorgeous land. 10 lb Brown trout lunkers have been pulled out of the lake but you won't catch these on Powerbait. Yearly stocked with trout so bring your kids out and fish. The handsome gazebo by the trout lake even has a fireplace. Perfect for evening entertaining. The lush valley offers a rare mix of beautiful Ponderosa Pine, Oak, Walnut, Cottonwood, Pinion and Juniper trees and hardy grasses. Wildlife are drawn to all that the property has to offer. Whether you hunt with a camera or a gun you will see trophy elk , mule deer, coues deer, bear, lion, bobcat, waterfowl & birds. . . (Hunting/shooting is not permitted on the property.
