A great stay and responsive host!

The view from this property was amazing! Being able to sit out on the balcony and watch the kangaroos made our trip. Our family were visiting from the UK and loved seeing all the Australian wildlife. All the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were modern, it was useful having two lounges and the decor was pleasant. It’s a short walk to dinner at Halls Gap Hotel or a well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. There is also a brewery to visit in town or plenty of local wineries. We were really lucky to stumble upon an annual gathering of all the local wineries just a 5 min drive away. Our only niggle was that the floor boards upstairs were really squeaky. It’s also worth noting the bedrooms don’t have full curtains / blinds so we got woken at daybreak - or take an eye mask. They also heated up quite a bit in the sunlight, we were able to open the door/window in some bedrooms which have a fly screen, but no aircon in the bedrooms themselves. Probably not an issue most of the year anyway!

Beautiful clean place. Loved seeing the kangaroos and emus in the evening from the backyard. Would definitely return.

Jenny’s place is amazing with the wild life park at your own backyard! Comfortable and feels like home. Excellent hospitality!
