This is our 3rd time staying at Karmen's place, they are great hosts and part of the local community! The park across the street was like our backyard and the new playground structure was entertaining for both our 10 and 13 year old! We love that the space is so unique and the extra amenities (shuffle board table, foos ball table, treadmill . . .) kept our kids finding "new" things in the church basement. The kitchen has 2 vintage stoves that can take a little getting used to. Loved the welcome snacks! Lots of bathroom towels and little extras like toothpaste, toothbrush, men and women's deodorant, just in case you forgot something! Walkable to the Raccoon River Dallas Center Trailhead, restaurants and bakery. Nearest grocery store (Hy-Vee) we used was 15-20 min away in Grimes. Always hoping that the church basement isn't "booked" when we come to visit Dallas Center!

Great place to stay in Dallas Center. Lots of games to play and very spacious for movie nights. It is right across from the park and you can walk in to town. Would definitely come back again!

This place is perfect for us. The big room and large table with the additional card table was great for our scrapbooking weekend! It is so homey with lots of nice extra touches, such as Kleenex throughout, travel size toiletries for those items you might forget, coffee pods, etc. We will definitely be back!

Our family loves staying at this beautiful home. This was our third stay. It is always clean and well taken care of. Thoughtfully supplied with necessities and snacks. Karmen is very attentive to questions and requests. She was great at letting us know there was a snow parking ban in effect. Not to park on the street so as no to be towed./ ticketed. We look forward to coming back.
