Grounds were immaculate, well maintained beautiful by Stanley and Oscar (they also keep the beach clean and all the chairs and umbrellas for the guests). Leonard the manager and his staff made you feel at home and welcome. The bungalow had everything we needed, but no frills, need a washer and dryer in each room. There were no window glass on the windows, just wooden slats, this made the room feel like you were in a rain forest listening to all the local birds all night. Restaurants on the beach could be better, both service and menu. Bella Vita, two minute drive down the road, was excellent (you should rent a car). Overall highly recommended, and when we come back - we will definitely look to stay in one of the two cottages, newer and two bedroom with a full kitchen and laundry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Buccaneer - the staff are wonderful, very friendly and helped with arranging transport, providing recommendations etc. There is a small shop at the reception to buy water/drinks which was very useful as there’s no other supermarket in walking distance. The apartment was great with a comfortable bed and kept very clean. We stayed here for the beach (Buccaneer also provide beach towels), and the bay is stunning - there were always plenty of sun beds available on the dedicated section of beach throughout our stay and we enjoyed the bbq stand and the floating tiki bar in the bay. The beach is busier with cruise passengers between 10am-4pm but otherwise very quiet. For nearby restaurants - we enjoyed an evening meal at Ana’s and Salt Plage restaurant is decent for breakfast/lunch. Casa Roots was definitely our favourite place for sunset cocktails/evening meal - gorgeous place and good and highly recommend.

Very clean and well kept property. The staff was very friendly and Eulanda was very helpful. The unit was clean and comfortable. There was no blender in the unit and laundry is $10US a load for you to do it yourself. If you are going to sit on the beach with alot of other people then this place is great. The public beach is directly beside this resort and during the day it was very noisy with loud music but was very quiet at night.

A great place to relax and enjoy the beach. Great for self catering - the big supermarket is about 2k away so walkable but taxi back. Staff are all very friendly and the room is kept clean (serviced every other day).
