Really, really lovely stay in Cardiff at Alex's place. House was beautiful and extremely spacious.

Nice location close to town centre (about 15 minutes walk). Felt very spacious and clean with accommodation split over first and second floor and large rooms. Private parking space was a big bonus. Downside: Only one set of keys, which is not ideal for four adults who want to do different things. Shower (especially the control) seemed cheap and wouldn't adjust the temperature of the water properly. The only way to reduce the water temperature to something usable was to turn it down at the boiler. There was no lock on bathroom door. Mattress in lower bedroom had two badly fitting mattress toppers. Kitchen could have done with some extras e.g. a blender.

The apartment was just what we were looking for. It was spacious, modern, clean and in a quiet location, situated about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. Ideal for a city break.
