great value and theyre great hosts. place is dated and no cable etc, but has Wi-Fi. she was kind enough to provide a tv but make sure you bring a fire stick, I forgot. I generally get a place to myself, but was wanting to save money and the other person was no bother. Shower is either scolding hot or cold, the knob needs to be adjusted or replaced. Food was great and appreciated!!!

Rakhshi’s place was awesome and she was such an amazing and attentive host! I spent a week here and had a great time. I will definitely be coming back to stay here when I’m in the area again. This location definitely has the feeling of a happy home. She keeps eggs and bread in the fridge for guests and offers delicious home-cooked food and goodies as well, which is such a generous addition. There’s laundry detergent and softener for travelers who need it. A large TV in the common area. Little soaps in the rooms and fresh towels. The geographic location is awesome as well — I was about 4-10 minutes away from whatever I needed — post office, grocery store, coffee shops, Herndon’s old town. There are also a lot of walking and hiking options. I also traveled to the DC/Rosslyn area a few times and found it very easy. 10/10 experience.

Rakhshi ROCKS! She met us at the door late at night after a long drive, and immediately made us comfortable. She had so many amazing extra little touches like croissants and holiday-flavored coffee for breakfast, and the shared space of couches, kitchenette and kitchen table was huge, sparkling clean and super relaxing. The king-sized bed room is exactly the way it's shown in the pics and was clean and comfy too. Rakhshi was also really communicative as we made our way to her place. Definitely treated us like family. If I could give her place 10 stars, I would.
