The Agency is a refurbished 4-bedroom Grade II listed house set within the grounds of Sandon Hall, located in the stunning Staffordshire countryside. Our luxury holiday rental contains all the modern comforts and amenities you'd ever need for a wonderful weekend, or a week away. Staffordshire is blessed with attractions and activities of all kinds, from roaming the beautiful scenery and days out at theme parks, to stately home tours and visits to historical market towns. Once inside, The Agency’s large entrance hall and central staircase then draws the eye immediately towards the Snug straight ahead and the double-chambered Drawing Room to the left. To the right - and adding to the contemporary sense of stylish, relaxed living and entertaining space - is as an open-plan dining area that leads on, through a wide archway, into a large kitchen (complete with butler’s sink and cream Aga) that will be a joy for guests wanting to cook and entertain. Upstairs, the master bedroom with its bow window overlooks The Agency’s garden to the rear. Directly below, the Snug’s French windows lead out to this further private area for guests. Here, a small stream adds to the tranquillity. The main lawn comes with more than enough room for garden games and the garden gate leads out into Sandon’s 50 acres of Pleasure Gardens and a further 400 acres of accessible parkland beyond.
A wonderful spacious house in a unique and delightful location. You walk out of the door and are able to stroll through the beauty of the private estate, sheep squirrels and all. The house was well appointed with spacious rooms. Good hot water. Reasonable wifi. Nothing to complain about.
A great place to meet extended family / friends. A very spacious tranquil space in a beautiful setting. The team are super helpful. Just a bit tricky to locate as the postcode given didn’t seem to work for me. Otherwise a great trip!
I cannot find fault with this beautiful home. We went with our dogs and friends and had the best weekend. Melissa was very helpful, and we could want for nothing. A stunning location and an even more stunning home. We will definitely be back again!
Stunning property in beautiful surroundings. The host is super responsive and helpful and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. We had a great time staying here with friends and highly recommend. A spacious kitchen with basics supplied and plenty of room for the kids to run about. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Sandon & Burston is located some 3 miles to the South East of the Market Town of Stone and 5.7 miles North of the County Town of Stafford.
The Parish is within the Trent Valley with the River Trent, Trent & Mersey Canal Conservation Area & wonderful picturesque views across the Staffordshire countryside all within the Parish Boundary. Sandon and Burston is steeped in history & was recorded in the Doomsday Book of 1086 with the Parish now having thirty five listed buildings, three Ancient Woodlands, one Ancient Monument & twenty-eight registered sites within the Sites and Monuments Record.
Set on a private 50 Acre Estate with plenty of parking on a private gravel courtyard located at the front of the property.
