Our 3 weeks were just exactly what we hoped for. A calm, private environment on a beautiful castle ground. The internet was perfect for working remotely and the cute little village has a great bakery " Arthur" and a cute wine bar "Cot' & Halle", we can both highly recommend. Long walks along the canal and calm evenings, looking at the castle, trees and stars. Highly recommended!

We've just returned from our five-night stay at Bertrandt's wonderful home, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The accommodation was beautifully presented, and the mix of modern amenities in such a characterful property was spot on. The surrounding estate was peaceful and a great place to quickly unwind and relax. Sitting beneath the stars on a warm evening with a glass of wine in hand was all that we had wished for. The pool area was magnifique, with its heated water, choice of seating areas and decking the perfect places to kick back with a book between dips in the modern pool. Bertrandt was the ideal host: charming, informative about the area, relaxed in his approach, and also quick to respond to any questions we had with great suggestions for days out, etc. We also enjoyed using his cycles for trips into the village, supermarket, etc. All in all, would highly recommend as the perfect French break for both couples and larger groups. We're planning to book up for next year!

We had an amazing stay! The chateau is stunning and the apartment lovingly renovated. It had a fully equipped kitchen and the bedroom was kept naturally cool from the stone walls. We loved having a swim in the pool and exploring the village. During our stay we visited Toulouse, Montauban and Albi on Bertrand's recommendedation, they were all well worth it! We did not struggle to travel around without a car due to the nearby train station. The local patisserie is a must too. A wonderful holiday all in all!

Bertrand could not have been a more friendly, welcoming host. The apartment was great, the pool fabulous: Bertrand is rightly proud of the restoration of his family home-he gave us a tour of the tower. We shared conversations about travel etc; Bertrand gave helpful recommendations re what to do, where to go, the train to Toulouse, where to eat/shop etc. I highly recommend staying with Bertrand- a great host, beautiful surrounds, a really comfortable apartment and wonderful pool to relax in after a day exploring.

Fantastic stay in a beautifully restored apartment in a historic setting. Tour of the tower by Bertrand and views of surrounding area were great. Heated pool was amazing with lots of water toys for children to use. Apartment was very clean and spacious with all of the facilities you need for a self-catering holiday. Property location was good for the train station and town centre and set in a large plot of land with woods to explore (including cherry trees), trampoline, swing, football for children. Lots of outdoor seating to choose from and a chateaux cat! Bertrand was easy-going, a great host and made us very welcome.
