Carol is a top notch host!!! She always answered her messages and all questions we had. I thought the property was cozy, just as the pictures depicted, clean, well-stocked, and had the perfect layout for spending time with family. She provides all the amenities you need to feel right at home!! The location was wonderful, close to the beach and fantastic restaurants. The Hippie Chalet is a great place to relax no matter where you sit, swing or swim in the yard. Truly peaceful!! Highly recommend!! 😊💜🥰

I had no idea when I was scrolling on Airbnb in 2022 how important Hippie Chalet would become to our family. Our first trip was 10-9-2022, it was to celebrate the finalization of my daughter Graces adoption. Everyone fell in love with Puerto Rico and Hippie Chalet instantly. Grace decided it’s “her house” we came back in June and now we are back to celebrate Graces 5th Birthday.! This house is everything you think it might be plus more!!! Just book it, when you do you will want to give yourself at least a day to just enjoy everything the house has to offer!! Then there is the BEST beach in PR is right there!! The host for the Chalet, Carol is the most amazing! She adds special little touches to your trip to make it unforgettable. We look forward to every visit to Hippie Chalet!!

As with previous reviews, we were blown away by Carol as a host! She was amazing at communicating with me, offering recommendations for our trip planning, including the use their own rental car service! Our son and girlfriend arrived 8+ hours ahead of the rest of family, and Carol made sure the van was at the airport on their arrival for them. They were blown away by the sweet birthday surprise that Carol had arranged for the birthday girl! So welcoming! The Hippie Chalet is just as the pictures show! Very cute, comfortable, and so fun! Our family of 7 (all big kids/adults) had room to sleep & roam comfortably. We made frequent use of the kitchen, outdoor shower, pool, grill, outdoor space,and fire pit. The only downside were the pesky noseeum bugs and mosquitoes, but Carol had us covered with bug spray and citronella candles :) My boys used the bikes to explore the neighborhood and state park right around the corner from the Hippie Chalet. Walked to beach and El K’Rajo. Loved it!

I planned a last minute get away, Our first time on the Island. Carol made us feel at home and safe and was Proactively responsive, Offering excellent places to eat locally Hippie Cache was great food btw... and also helped find excusions locally, with so many to choose from it is nice to hear local opinions. It was comfortable and safe My kids loved the house. Everything was 22 minutes away or less. Not far from any of the Local excursions beautiful beach (which is also up the street) Definitely want to spend more time at the Air bnb next time. This time we were ripping and running lol. She made everything convenient especially with the rental car service with Her. I highly recommend I can not wait to go back and try her other property out with more friends to bring along next time around. Enjoy Piñones Everyone I talk to back home No matter where on the Island they visit say Piñones is where they visit first to eat straight off the Airplane. I am so happy I found HippieChaletPR

We have no words to describe how amazing of a time we had at the hippie chalet! We all wish we could’ve stayed longer. What made it even better was our host Carol. She’s the best & really went out of her way to make us all feel at home. I’ve travelled all over the world as a filmmaker & Carol is by far the best host i’ve stayed with <3
