Unfortunately the house was soured by my post-checkout interactions with John. I was in town for a wedding and on the second night a third person stayed over. After check out, John messaged me and was quite terse about the third bed being used, saying he had been charged more in cleaning. Accepting my fault for not adjusting the booking and additional sheets/room cleaning fee, I offered to pay the difference. It had been a last minute decision for the third person to stay, and I didn't think about how many we'd booked to stay as it was a three-bed house. John was rather rude about the situation and then ghosted all response. Not exactly polite customer service, especially when we would have rectified any additions costs on John with no questions asked per my most recent message to him. The house was fine. If you're a sensitive sleeper the trucks rumble past this road at night. The fridge froze all the drinks/food we put in it. Other than that I loved the Federation features.

Enjoyed our stay in Parkes while going to the Trundle Abba festival 2023. Accomodation was in a great location, easy drive to bus stop for shuttle, very clean, comfortable, great amenities and appliances, good number and range of kitchen crockery and pots. Appreciated dishwasher, easy to operate. Great to have the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Communication with host John very responsive and clear. Really enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend to friends.

Great house, 1 of the bathrooms had a brilliant shower. Kitchen was well stocked. Only heating was a heater in the lounge room, had be boiling in the lounge room to get any heat to the bedrooms. Spare blankets were provided which was handy. Only negatives were minor, rubbish left from last guest in bathroom, bins full we had to take some of our garbage with us.
