Patricia is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble, she really goes the extra mile. She has a fabulous home and makes you feel so welcome. The tram station is very close by and it is so easy to get to Basel. Rodersdorf is a lovely community. We are sure this must be the best Airbnb you will ever find and with the best host. I'm so happy I decided to stay with Patricia in Rodersdorf. She's very helpful, friendly and uncomplicated and the house is really comfortable and quiet. It's on a large lot with nice views of the garden from all angles. Kitchen is great and the bath modern. I felt at home my entire visit and enjoyed the area a lot. This small village is the middle of some beautiful walking/running/biking areas with small streams, forests and lots of horses and farms. It's really idyllic. There's a world-class restaurant in the village recently opened by two young chefs with exciting ideas and who worked at a well-known restaurant in Basel. The small local store has a large selection of cheeses--there's an organic goat cheese farm just up the road--and produce and fresh bread. I found brown basmati rice! And, it's even open Sunday morning, which is unusual for Switzerland. During my visit, I attended an opera (!) at the local community center with Patricia and some neighbors. It was surprisingly really creative and professional for such a small village (professional orchestra, too). You can take the tram to Basel, so the transportation is great. This area also borders the Alsace in France with many nice villages, markets and cultural sites. You won't be disappointed if you choose Patricia's home in Rodersdorf!! It has everything you need for a comfortable visit to this area.

I stayed with Patricia in Rodersdorf, which is a small village about 30mins by tram outside the city of Basel. I loved her home, it is warm and inviting. She is a wonderful host and I highly recommend staying here.

Alles super: idyllisch gelegen, aber dicht an Basel, ein modernes Holzhaus mit schöner Küche und schönen Zimmern. Nahe der französischen Grenze. Ich habe eine ganzen Monat da gelebt und kann es nur empfehlen.
