We absolutely loved the cabin Trail access was perfect and it was a cozy place with a fireplace to sit at when we got back from snowmobiling Neighborhood was so peaceful Would definitely come back

This cozy cabin was exactly what I was looking for and more. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. If you’re a snowmobiler like I am this cabin is perfect. Extremely short drive across portage lake and you’re on the trail. Chad and Jana were great hosts, they gave me extremely detailed info on the check in and I had absolutely no issues with anything in the house during my stay. And to me a great host is someone who gives detailed check in notes and leaves you alone after that to enjoy your stay and that’s exactly what they did! Next year when I’m ready to go back to Portage Lake this will be the first place I check to see if it’s available!

Chad and Jana’s cabin on the lake was amazing. We were extremely pleased with everything and it worked out perfectly for our annual hunting trip. The cabin was clean, comfortable, warm, very well maintained and was stocked with absolutely everything anyone would need. The location was very convenient and peaceful. Chad and Jana sent an informational email through air bnb before our arrival that explained everything anyone would need to know regarding self check in and cabin operations. Great place, great hosts. Would highly recommend.
