The house was a perfect location and set up for our girls trip! Very private and felt very safe in the neighborhood in addition to a gated driveway. Right on the beach and walkable to a strip of local bars and restaurants along the beach which we found ourselves at everyday during our stay! If you're looking to stay near the rainforest for an active and outdoor trip to PR, would definitely recommend this Airbnb - Roberto was a fantastic host and the house was so comfortable and relaxing!

Amazing place and great location! The house has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the outside space. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the showers but not a big deal. Overall it was a perfect stay for our family vacation! Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Roberto's house was excellent. In fact, the first thing we've mentioned to friends upon our return home from Puerto Rico is how perfect our AirBnB was for our needs. As two families of five (each with three teenagers) we really appreciated the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Each of the six teenagers on our trip had their own queen-sized bed and there was still a spare bed left over! Roberto was an excellent communicator. On the few occasions that we had questions (including when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house), Roberto responded immediately and provided assistance. Luquillo is in a great location for tourists looking to spend time in San Juan, exploring at El Yunque or adventuring out of Fajardo. We highly recommend Roberto's home if you're looking for a relaxing, private, accessible, comfortable place to stay in Puerto Rico!

The location was difficult to find using Uber, Google maps found the address without issue. Overall the house is clean and well-maintained, however, we found it to be infested with cockroaches in the kitchen area primarily. Roberto was apologetic and quickly responded in communication. We had no alternative other than to stay through our reservation. Roberto did provide a nominal refund for our inconvenience. Roberto implied that the home has pest control treatments and was alarmed to hear of the cockroach problem. I found home pest control in the storage area and treated it daily, finding cockroaches on the floors daily, and sometimes in cabinets and refrigerator. The outdoor space is nice and spacious, the pool is well-maintained. Beware of iguana poop in the grassy area, they like the area near the back side of the pool. The stairs to the beach area shown in the pictures are partially missing and there was no sandy beach during the time of year we were staying.

Great stay for our family of 10! Overall clean and well-stocked. Kids loved the pool, we loved the hot tub. We were sad that we couldn’t access the beach through the backyard this time of year, but we knew this from the booking description, and the beach was only a short walk away. Beautiful views, and the location was convenient to the kioskos, El Yunque, and Fajardo. Neighborhood is a bit dilapidated in places, but it was quiet and we never felt unsafe. Roberto was very responsive, and we had no major issues.
