High quality cottage, beautifully done, extremely comfortable for a week. Magnificent kitchen with good appliances. Bedrooms relatively simple but plenty of storage in drawers and hanging unit - I never travel light! Lots of places to store wellies, coats etc . The Christmas tree was a homely touch, all the furniture is deceptively spacious throughout the cottage. WiFi good enough for me to do Zoom calls and work online all week. Dropped out once but quickly restored. Everywhere felt very clean when I arrived. The lanyards bit of a gimmick and we managed to upset security. But 10% discount at farm shop was useful. Ross really willing to assist when asked - 100%. Tv in bedroom might be nice. But it's all pretty perfect.

Stables Cottage was a clean and well presented little cottage which served perfectly for two people and a border terrier as a base for a week whilst visiting family and enjoying a break away. The kitchen was well equiped and we did most of our own catering from there, however there are pubs and takeaways in the nearby villiages and Worksop is a ten minute drive away for shopping. There are plenty of Public footpaths to explore which can be accessed directly from the property. The garden area is fully enclosed and safe for dogs. There are loads of places to visit in the area and the host provided a good guide book listing them. Overall the property was as described and suited our needs.

First time booking with airbnb and easy to do. Constant updates and information and was easy to check in the property. The cottage was easy to find and spotless with all the amenities as listed. There were loads of walks and places of interest in the area and numerous pubs and eateries in the area without travelling miles. The secure garden area was ideal for pet safety and the grass had been mown prior to our arrival. The locals were friendly and talkative. The Welbeck Estate is a beautiful and well kept estate with loads to do and see. There is only one criticism about the location in that the local traffic noise along the adjacent country lane can be a bit off putting to some people. We shall be returning.
