Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Home is beautiful and comfortable!
We visited Michelle’s property off season so it was quiet and peaceful. The house has an upstairs bedroom and a “sleeping porch”. Michelle did a great job turning this into a comfortable and private sleeping space. It was nice having 2 full baths because we were 2 couples. The kitchen was pretty well equipped and we cooked most all of our meals in. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy. We loved the fire pit and used it daily. Beds were comfortable. The upstairs one was more firm. We felt the house was a comfortable space to relax.
The house was so cute and right on the lake! Somehow I missed that there wasn’t a washer and dryer(that’s on me). However if two people are staying 5 days I would think more than 2 towels each. Other than that we loved the place. Wish it was less rainy so we could have enjoyed the outside a bit more. We drove to wineries both directions as well as state parks with waterfalls!
Awesome lake cottage on a less busy, more residential lake than the larger ones nearby. Easy access to both Keuka and Seneca Lakes. The outdoor spaces were all incredible. Two full bathrooms aren't common on many Waneta cottages, and was a plus. It got cold at night but the heat worked beautifully! As others have mentioned, if we were staying for more than 3 nights a washer/dryer would be nice, but again, we knew that as we booked.
