I had a comfortable stay here. D'Nelle was super responsive to any needs I had. The room is stylish, all the basics are covered, large dresser, places to plug in your electronics, and there is a large tv with DirectTV. The neighborhood is very safe and the grounds extremely secure. The location is divine, being outdoors with the magnificent views of the city lights at night and the magestic Sandia mountains during the day. For a photographer, this location presents amazing opportunity, every day the light changes. It felt safe to walk any time of day and evening. It would be a great place to bike, as well. Trader Joe's is within walking distance. The courtyard is perfect for dogs; enclosed with a gate and landscaped well for pups, as well. There are other dogs on the property and next door. They announce their presence but are not a nuisance, don't bark a lot, and I had no direct interaction with them. Short term stays are ideal here and D'Nelle is very accomodating.

Latch of sliding door & closing of it is not seamless. I slept with the door unlocked & lined chairs by door. The outside gate was not closed after I was in. So being in a dark, new place felt unsafe. Especially arriving so late bc of flight delays (1:30am). The recommendation is to take the gate remote, actually follow this advice or you will be Locked out. Have a flashlight with you to get to the room if you arrive at night. It was creepy for me as a female solo traveler. Place was comfortable & looked like the pictures & close enough for the balloon festival. The downside of the stay was simply not having the remote to the outside gate & wanting to sleep after the 3am wake ups for the festival. Plan accordingly.

Everything was well-organized from check in to check out. It’s in a great area and the room was immaculate. My stay was perfect.
