An old estate with character and charm. A bit noisy at times because work people were in the garden and house next to it and a rather loud group was probably renting another part of the estate. But you wake up hearing only the birds, and it's a perfect starting point for beautiful walks or for trips into the Brecon Beacons. We had a great time!

A charming cottage where lots of thought has been put into the amenities included eg clothes airer (very handy in wet Wales!), board games and vast array of kitchen utensils. This place was totally spot on for location and visiting the likes of The Four Waterfalls and Pen y Fan but also for supermarkets and high street shops. The surrounding area was so peaceful with a stunning backdrop to wake up to. I scored average for cleanliness as it’s quite dated and clearly been enjoyed by many a dog owner. We didn’t mind as we came home muddy and wet with our furry friend every day but if you weren’t a pet owner this place may not be for you. The secure garden was very welcome, there is a bench out the front of the property which I personally would have preferred out the back to enjoy our morning brew. Reliable Wi-Fi was a blessing as service was sketchy. We hope to return

A wonderful, peaceful stay in the Brecon Beacons. Even though the weather was very wet and windy, this cottage felt like a charming, cosy sanctuary for us and the countryside around it is beautiful. Well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. And great if you have a dog - I would highly recommend this place if you have a dog. Would happily return!
