Anita and Polo were excellent hosts. I had a last minute booking request and they worked with AirbnB to figure out a way to book the place. Location is very peaceful with very thoughtful touches throughout the house. I would definitely stay here again.

Anita took personal interest and provided me assistance in resolving an exceedingly problematic and difficult situation when I visited. She made me feel right at home but also gave me the privacy I needed. It was a beautiful space and was worth every penny of my stay.

The ‘hacienda’ is perfectly located below beautiful Taos Mountain within minutes from The Plaza, galleries, restaurants, services and adventures. The Vaquero Suite is spotless and equipped with every comfort including WiFi, TV and writing desk, with the electric kitchen appliances found in high end hotels, and with secure and private entrance and parking. The bed is superb and a good nights sleep is waiting for your enjoyment. I cannot say enough about the hosts who live on the property. They make extraordinary effort to make to make you welcome, appreciated and comfortable. I highly recommend this venue without reservation. It is particularly beautiful in the Fall!

Fantastic stay! I lived here for one month. Anita and Polo were warm and friendly from day one; we enjoyed conversations on their property, but they also gave me privacy. Very private location in general--I never saw any neighbors. They checked in with me periodically to see If I needed anything and provided things or information right away. Very peaceful and quiet location close to downtown Taos and Ranchos, hiking trails such as the Rio Grande Gorge, and skiing locations (I was there in the summer, so I would go up to the ski valley and hike). Great place to begin cycling the roads around Taos, Ranchos, and the neighboring areas and to explore the Enchanted Circle route with your car. Place was very clean, nicely furnished, and cozy. Bed was very comfortable with a window next to you that provides an amazing breeze for sleeping during the spring/summer. Shower is one of the best parts with plenty of hot water. Felt very safe with multiple locks on the door and screen door. A+++++++++
