We had a family reunion at the finca and had a great time. The finca is huge and has plenty of space for family gatherings. We decided to hire 2 ladies to help cook and help during our stay. They were great and went above and beyond. Overall great stay but the location is a little misleading. The road/path to reach the finca is very rough, muddy and difficult to navigate if you have a small/compact car.

Finca muy bonita, el espacio del kiosco tiene buena vista, los cuartos acogedores y la zona verde al lado de la piscina ideal para jugar, buenos espacios comunes, cocina muy bien equipada, los anfitriones muy amables y serviciales, la recomiendo ❤️

Our stay at Mauricio’s farm was incredible! First of all, his communication leading up to the trip was great. He was very informative, set clear expectations of the house and facilities and was always available to discuss any concern. He managed the logistics of hiring helpers to cook for our family, a great amenity for a group of 22! Mauricio pro-actively communicated with us a couple days before our trip, during it to check in, and afterwards. Our family is from Colombia but not from this town so it was extra helpful to have him so easily accessible. If you’re a foreign family, his eagerness to help is even more essential. The house and amenities are just as described, read the description throughly. The house is very spacious for a large family. We used the pool and kids area everyday. We didn’t have many children but for a family with kids, the central location of the pool is convenient to keep the kids safe and always in the center of attention. Our young adults took over the billiard room every night which was great for the adults that wanted peace and quiet in the main house. The set up of the house allows for unity as the main attraction of the pool is in the middle but still allows for quiet areas such as the hammock porch. The house is secluded so you can really enjoy the sights and peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for. Our family danced all night instead but the space lends itself well for both options. The entire area is owned by Mauricio so you don’t have to worry about your neighbors, which is always a nice things to know specially in these types of open space houses. The description isn’t clear but we were happily surprised to see the room configuration. The main house with the kitchen and covered porch has three rooms and two full bathrooms. The typical finca open room portion has 9-10 more rooms plus 3 more full bathrooms. Each room has a double/queen size bed plus a bunk bed. This set up is great for giving each nuclear family their own room! Which is what we did. Jenny and Erica were hired by Mauricio on our behalf and were amazing to work with. They really allowed us to relax as a family and treated us with kindness. Always willing to help, we really enjoyed their company and assistance. Another great assistance was the jeep driver that was recommended to us. If you have a larger, 4-wheel car, the house is easy to get to. Smaller lower cars may have some difficulty, especially during the rainy season. But it’s not a big deal, we hired the jeep driver and he took us back and forth to Chinchina where we left our cars parked overnight without a problem. Plus is a great experience to be in the back of the jeep taking in the scenery. Overall, we had a great time at this traditional finca. The flexibility of being able to use either all the rooms or only some, make it a great option for parties of all sizes. Our family had the best time and will definitely be asking to reserve again.

Finca muy bien ubicada, con muy amplios y buenos espacios de juego y descanso. Buena cantidad de habitaciones y baños para grupos grandes. La cocina está muy bien dotada y también cuenta con buena zona de BBQ. Ambiente seguro y agradable para caminatas por el paisaje cafetero. La dotación y acabados son sencillos pero muy completos. La opción de tener una persona para ayudar en la cocina y aseo es un plus muy recomendable. Tuvimos una estadía muy agradable y sin contratiempos.
